New Barrington Bridge

Completed in 2020 for RMS in partnership with Ditchfield Contracting the project involved the construct a new bridge over the Barrington River on Thunderbolts Way located about 500 metres west of Barrington.

Fernandes Constructions were responsible for the construction of the new concrete super-T girder bridge over the Barrington River, about 108 metres long, 14.43 metres wide and incorporating a 2.8 metres-wide path for pedestrians.

Construction of the bridge involved meeting several challenges such as working over the Barrington River for bridge construction and having the works undertaken in accordance with the strict Bat Management Plan.
